I recently pick up on Isabel Allende, specifically Paula, the book about her daughter and there was no single time that I couldnt cry. I´m searching something alike, preferably if it is writted by a woman. To give you an idea, Paula is the real story of Isabel`s daughter that is slowly dying due to porphyria, it is in part a biography of Isabel`s life but the way is writted is just so emotional and heartbreaker.

Try more of her stuff: Early books- Eva Luna, House of the Spirits, and work your way through. There isn’t a book of hers that doesn’t hit the mark .
