I want to read a book which main theme is sin, being wrong, moral and human imperfection. A quote that inspired me to ask this is “to be human is to be wrong”, so if anyone knows a book/books talking about this please recommend. Morality is a very interesting concept to me and I like reading about it. I recently read the trial by kafka so that book inspired me to ask this question too.
Looking forward to recommendations!

I got this vibe from The Count of Monte Cristo but it’s not super philosophical. I thought I would throw it out there anyway.
Wise Blood by Flannery O’Connor. Also her short stories.
