Clothing Design?

I’m thinking something like The Design of Everyday Things by Don Norman, or like the YouTube channels Rose Anvil or Iron Snail. Basically I’m looking for something going through various iconic designs, breaking down their parts and explaining function, style, history, logic behind design choices. Particularly interested in men’s clothing and work wear.

Alternatively, is there any seminal work on clothing design that may have this info plus more?
