Looking for a recommendation of a series about a character rising through the ranks in either military or political standings. I love the Sharpe series and Poor Man Fight. Both deal with characters on the bottom of the totem pole and slowly increase in standings.
Sci Fi preferred (Currently on an itch for it)
But ok with Historical fiction, Fantasy, or anything else!
