I find my reading falls off in the Fall when I get back to work, and I was thinking I'd like a new cozy series to start. My favourite cozy mysteries are Donna Andrews' Meg Langslowe books. I love the characters, I love that while they follow the tried and true cozy formulas, the characters do evolve over the books and that the main character is in a stable relationship. I love wacky side characters too. My least favourite cozies are Joanna Fluke's Hanna Swenson books. I liked them originally, but the love triangle just killed it for me. I love tropes except for enemies to lovers and love triangles. I've read and liked (but didn't love) Leslie Meier, Janet Evanovich, and GA McKevitt. Bonus if there's a Hallowe'en themed book early in the series. I've googled, but there are just so many choices. What are your favourites if you're into the genre?
