A few days ago, I read something where the writer emphasized the importance of creating an Ideal Customer Profile (ICP) and mentioned that no business is for everyone.
That's true.
However, if someone writes a book on emotional intelligence and sells it to all adults, it wouldn't surprise me.
That’s because I believe emotional intelligence (EQ) is essential and valuable for every person on earth.
After reading Emotional Intelligence 2.0, I’ve come to realize just how important EQ is for all of us.
No matter who you are or what you want to achieve, you need EQ to build strong relationships—whether in personal or professional settings—so that people enjoy being around you or working with you.
The higher you aim to go, especially if you’re leading a team or running a company, the more important it becomes to '"Influence people and win friends".
This book provides tools to help you "sharpen the saw" and improve those skills.
The key points to look for are:
-
Self-awareness
-
Self-management
-
Social awareness
Overall, it's a great book, and I’m eager to explore more books in this category.
