My girlfriends all got me onto the ACOTAR/Throne of Glass/Fourth Wing hype train, I read em all and now looking for some recommendations but I am wanting to try and stray away from the YA side of it. I'm looking for spicy sex scenes, really good plot with twists, adult characters and not young 20 year olds, characters with a bit more maturity, fantasy setting would be preferred but Im open to other ideas.
I understand dragons and faeries and all these other creatures are not real, yet I find them more believable then a 20 year old coming into power, running kingdoms and countries with no experience, ordering around seasoned generals and military figures as if they know nothing.
I did have fun and enjoyed these books dont get me wrong, but it would be nice to read about characters with a bit more maturity.
