I hadn’t read a book for fun in an embarrassing number of years but I was recently recommended A Canticle For Leibowitz and I absolutely loved it. Since I haven’t been much of a reader I don’t really know where to go from here but I really want to get back into reading now after having such a great experience and any ideas for where to go next would be much appreciated. Some of the things I really liked about ACFL were how it explored human nature, religion, and philosophy. I also really enjoyed the general style of the writing. Hopefully the explanation of why I liked it isn’t too vague to be useful but I honestly don’t know exactly how to express why it hit me so hard and pulled me in the way it did. If you love it as well maybe just shout out some of your other favorite books. I don’t care about genre so even though ACFL is sci-fi please feel free to recommend anything. Thanks!
