We all know books that are more often better than the movie adaptations for TV or cinema. Do you know an example where it is viceversa, e.g. that you read the book and found it worse than the movie or saw the movie and thought it was much better than the book (for both cases: novelisations not included)?
I would go first and say that I enjoyed "Mrs. Doubtfire" much more than "Alias Madame Doubtfire" by Anne Fine". It was very strange reading the book while the movie had a better narrative here.
