I read some YA Dystopian Science Fiction back in the day and have read a few Sci-Fi hits since then but I’m really trying to get back into the genre as an adult. So far this year I have read and liked Recursion by Blake Crouch, Leviathan Wakes by James S.A. Corey (I definitely plan on continuing), and Do Androids Dream of Electric Sheep by Philip K. Dick! I would love any recs based on what I have liked so far, thanks!

Brave new world by aldous huxley
Synners or Fools by Pat Cadigan – great dystopian cyberpunk novels.
Give [Revenger](https://www.hachettebookgroup.com/titles/alastair-reynolds/revenger/9780316555562/), by Alastair Reynolds a shot. I’m a fan of pretty much all his stuff and this is a departure from the “usual” universe he writes in.
[Seveneves](https://www.goodreads.com/book/show/22816087) by Neal Stephenson. I like most of Neal Stephenson’s stuff. You can’t go wrong with it. Snow Crash, Reamde, and Diamond Age are all good.
[Project Hail Mary](https://www.goodreads.com/book/show/54493401-project-hail-mary) by Andy Weir
[Altered Carbon](https://www.goodreads.com/book/show/40792913-altered-carbon) by Richard Morgan
[The Bobiverse](https://www.goodreads.com/series/192752-bobiverse) By Dennis Taylor.
[The Hyperion Cantos](https://www.goodreads.com/book/show/77566.Hyperion) by Dan Simmons. This my be my favorite scifi series.
If you like Phillip K Dick, I was a fan of [A Scanner Darkly](https://www.goodreads.com/book/show/14817.A_Scanner_Darkly).
[Neuromancer](https://www.goodreads.com/book/show/888628.Neuromancer?ac=1&from_search=true) by William Gibson
[Old Man’s War](https://www.goodreads.com/series/40789-old-man-s-war) by John Scalzi. I was hesitant at first, it didn’t seem very interesting. But it was way better then expected.
[Pale Grey Dot](https://www.goodreads.com/book/show/200356308-pale-grey-dot?from_search=true&from_srp=true&qid=lh0SVyjulp&rank=1), by Don Miasek. Sci-fi with spy craft, cybernetics, and superb character dynamics.
The quantum evolution trilogy, Derek kunsken the altered carbon trilogy, Richard k. Morgan.
Try Spaceman of Bohemia by Jaroslav Kalfař.
It’s a super quick and really interesting read
About a guy in space who’s been sent to discover what’s inside a suspicious looking comet trail that has enveloped the earth. He instead starts seeing a gigantic spider like creature while on his spaceship and stuff starts happening when he begins interacting with it….
Project Hail Mary by Andy Weir. The best book I read in 2021 and I’ve since the-read it and listened to it at least 10 times. If you can, get the audiobook. Vocalization plays a huge role and is done extremely well in the audiobook. Plus the narrator is amazing.
