Have you ever listened to one of the old Arctic Monkey's songs and thought "wow, I wish there was a book with the exactly same vibes to it"? Well, I have. And now I desperately need it. Something about life, friendship, love and so on. Characters' age doesn't matter, but I mostly prefer young adult. Any genre except the classics, but the atmosphere is what matters the most. I need a book that will not make me feel like I've been to the modern UK, but like I lived there, you know? I will highly appreciate it if your recommendations will include any of the following: 1) fantasy elements 2) found-family trope 3) such topics as poverty, any kind of abuse. psychological traumas, criminal etc. (love a good drama). I haven't read much of these myself, but if we're talking about books which plots took place in the UK, I really loved the Ninth House by Leigh Bardugo and quite liked the atmosphere of Lockwood & Co. when I gave it a try.
