Ok that's a bad request let me elaborate. Secret History was an incredibly gripping read which I think culminated from the wonderfully dark atmosphere it builds up (with Tart's wonderful page-long descriptions) and the mystery of all of the characters. Learning more about them and seeing how the protagonist's perspective on them warps as time goes on was fantastic, and I could mingle in the vibe of this book for hundreds of pages. Any books that show any parallels to this kind of dark, mysterious energy? The one I keep hearing of is If We Were Villains, that one I'm aware of.
