Hi, I'm just looking for some recommendations. I've really gotten into comedic books about addicts who are thrust into hard situations.
Ex. Knuckle Supper is essentially "what if Vampires were also heroin addicts"
Ex. Fiend is essentially "what if only meth addicts survived the zombie apocalypse"
Both are books about addicts in tough situations. They have comedic effects but don't glorify the drug use (obviously the drugs is what pushes the plot). The endings to both books were satisfying but also quite sad, as I said, they don't glorify the addiction.
I've been searching for fictional/horror/dystopian that involves addicts. It doesn't have to be drugs but any sort of addiction.
I know this is an odd request…
