Hi everyone. I'm looking for some books on the history of psychiatry and how people have interpreted various mental health disorders over the years. Mental health disorders are kind of a special interest of mine, but I don't have any formal education in psychology. So, I'd prefer something informative but also entertaining/almost conversational to read? Hope this makes sense.
EDIT: I'm particularly interested in how people have viewed "madness" in women over the years, so a modern feminist perspective is a huge plus!!
TIA!
