I am an avid sci fi/fantasy fan but did NOT enjoy Brandon Sanderson's books. Read a lot of Roger Zelazny, Ray Bradbury, and Larry Niven as a teen. Not an Asimov or Heinlein fan. Read a lot of Anne McCaffrey, Ursula K Le Guin, etc. Recently read the Awaken Online series by Travis Bagwell and enjoyed many John Scalzi books. I enjoy humor. Any suggestions for a seasoned sci fi/fantasy reader?

I think you’d like the Wayfarers series, starting with {{The Long Way to a Small Angry Planet by Becky Chambers}}.
Kurt Vonnegut, Becky Chambers, Catherynne M Valente are all pretty fun
Yahtzee Croshaw’s **Will Save the Galaxy For Food** is more satire than comedy. A space pilot put out of work by technology scrounges a living. The protagonist is a mashup of Han Solo and Crocodile Dundee.
