I enjoyed Twilight when I was in my 20s. Also liked The Hunger Games and now A Court of Thorns and Roses. But as I get older, these young characters are not relatable anymore.
Can anyone recommend something similar where the protagonists are not in their teens/20s? Bonus if they're a frumpy mom in their 40s 😆😆.
I've already read Outlander.

The Saint of Steel series by T Kingfisher. I went through them so fast lol
Paladin of Souls by Lois McMaster Bujold, although I admit that’s fantasy that includes romance more than it is romantic fantasy.
“That Time I Got Drunk and Saved a Demon” by Kimberly Lemming. I was so grateful the FMC was an adult woman I her 30s.
