This is my personal test for an amazing book. The books that I have reread immediately in the past are:
The Glass Hotel (Emily St. John Mandel), Deep River (Karl Marlantes), The Just City (Jo Walton), The Song of Achilles (Madeline Miller), The Spy Who Came in from the Cold (John Le Carre).
I know it is a list that crosses a lot of genres and styles, but could anyone suggest a book that they think will pass my “immediate re-read” test?
Thanks

For me it’s ‘All Quiet on the Western Front’. One of the most potent anti-war novels ever written, Remarque based his novel on his own experiences of the Great War so makes for a graphic but enthralling read.
