Give an alternate first and last name for a main character of a novel and we’ll guess the book.

Preferably the main character, but significant side characters are ok. Try to stick to names or nicknames from the actual book and not just nicknames given by readers/fanbases. Confirm and explain the name after it is answered correctly. I'll give an example below and also put one as a reply.

Robin Kreutznaer Robinson Crusoe. Later in the book his parrot calls him poor Robin, and in the first chapter of the book he explains his last name was originally Kreutznaer but "by the usual corruption of words in England" it was changed to Crusoe.
