I don't want books about the case, I'm thinking more about books that go into the minds of people who commit crimes or deal with mental health issues and how trauma/abuse affects a person.
The only book that comes to mind with a similar vibe to what I'm looking for is The Last House on Needless Street by Catriona Ward.
I'm mostly looking for a horror/thriller.
