I'm getting into annotating and I want to gift a few friends some annotated books (I asked, they're fine with it) but my taste in books is slightly different from theirs, and I don't have anything I think would fit what they like as there are themes I know they wouldn't enjoy :'DD The one thing is I'd rather just get standalones or novels, not part of any series.

Person A: He loves Frank Herbert's Dune series, Pittacus Lore's Lorien Legacies– basically anything with a strong plot, sci-fi, some magic, mystery, politics (just any plot-relevant government system and interactions if anything). Anything that focuses on astronomy would be really great too. Romance would be okay here, a lot of anime he likes are rom-coms or fantasy (think Reincarnated into Slime, Eminence in Shadow, Frieren, Bunny girl senpai). Minimal to no sexual content here please. In manhwas/webtoons he loves Solo Leveling and the like, got him into reincarnated historical manhwa too. Not really required but it would be nice if the covers had the colors (any shades of) red, blue or black.

Person B: She embodies cottage-core with a green thumb and loves her pet dogs and plants. She crochets and draws. Loves gacha games and Stardew Valley, but why choose/reverse harem wouldn't be for her in books. Minimal to no sexual content here as well. In manhwas/webtoons she reads really cute and sweet romances, though she also enjoys her reincarnated historical manhwa. Anything light and comfy. Another non-req is the covers of the book, something (any shades of) green or white, maybe soft yellows and pinks? No lore-heavy, thick books for her please.

Person C: Loves all things fantasy and elves. Definitely enjoyed the villainess reincarnated manhwas. Comedy would be really good for him. Oh and slow-burn romance. Nothing too lore-heavy for though. A short-to-medium book would be okay for him I'd think. Definitely no sexual content or spice. Book cover colors would be any shade of blue, whites, blue-greens to blueish-purples, and pinks.

Person D: Loves Percy Jackson and Hunger Games. A girl who likes Callum from Atlas Six and Victor from Vicious. She said, and I quote, "I like blonde and miserable men" (also Aldo from Alone With You in the Ether). Again, definitely no spice but really good on romance. Colors would just be any shade of pink.

Person E: Romance is a huge yes for her, F/F romance to be specific. Definitely no spice. Contemporary romance books would be perfect for her I'd think, she reads very minimal fantasies. Friends to lovers or fake dating tropes, just anything sweet and comfy. Colors would be deep purples, navy blues, and cherry red– though would like to re-state that these aren't requirements. Just would be nice if the cover colors matched :>

Person F: She likes romance, got me into the SJM universe if anything, so fantasy romance would be okay here too. Minimal to no spice here too please. Anything light and comfy since she's been having a hard time lately. Teal or blue-green colors ish.

Person G (wow I have plans): She special requested angst and slow-burn romance, so . . . yep. Contemporary or fantasy would be fine. Spice would be fine here, no dark romance though. Colors would be any shades of blue.

I realize this is a lot, but I just like gifting my friends things. And this is something I really want to do hehe. If not allowed, please tell me!
