I'm currently reading Braiding Sweetgrass and I'm really enjoying it so I'm looking to learn more about indigenous culture and wisdom. That being said, a lot of books I have read over the years are from the perspective of women and incorporate a lot of things regarding the place of women (e.g, women being keepers of water, three sisters methods). While I love learning about this, I also read the will to change by bell hooks last year and I really enjoyed it on a relational level since it's about men (and I am a cis man), despite it being a female author and from a feminist perspective. In braiding sweetgrass, she talks about the sun being an eldest brother and I was pretty curious about this story but it wasn't really elaborated much on. This is absolutely not me saying I am annoyed or find this knowledge worthless, on the contrary. I'm just feeling like I'd benefit from absorbing some knowledge about men (specifically in indigenous cultures) that which isn't the typical patriarchal/colonialist shit about how men are supposed to be strong and fighters and all that alpha bro bs.

Anybody have any good book recommendations?
