The Fourth Wing, by Rebecca Yarros. It’s a series about young adults learning to become dragon riders. Well written, gritty, with some tasty romance intertwined. Romance is NOT my cup of tea (I was in it for the dragons) but it was super well done and I couldn’t put the book down.

Jana DeLeon Miss Fortune series and Stephanie Plum series by Janet Evanovich are both laugh out loud light mysteries.
