a book like osamu dazai’s schoolgirl?

i read it when i was 14/15 and it’s been stuck in my mind ever since. just a short and emotional book with a teen whose life sucks. the virgin suicides, heaven (mieko kawakami) type of beat? idk. not the catcher in the rye and speak though, i didn’t rly like those books. i want it to be heart wrenchingly written. im in my insufferable pretentious teen emo phase (sorry) and dostoevsky & others isnt enough bc although i relate to some extent there’s only old people as main characters 😭😭
