Suggest me a crime book series (not a whodunnit

I have read most of the book series by Don Winslow (Cartel, Savages, City ) and James Ellroy (American Tabloid) and also the Godfather Saga. GaNow I just need some recommendations for more of the same kind of gritty, compelling, thrilling storytelling

• Just don't suggest a murder mystery/whodunnit/kidnapping/lost person
• Protagonist should be on the criminal side (mafia, heists, cartels etc) as in the books I mentioned before
• Other book series I have read include the Bull Mountain Saga, Coughlin by Dennis Lehane, Ghosts of Belfast, Gangsterland saga
