Of course, any concept of Time Travel would currently be classified as Science Fiction. Exactly as space travel would have been perceived in the era of Galileo.
Where this becomes intriguing is including the premise of multiple, simultaneous realities. And perhaps even more astounding ideas as yet still unexplored.
I am asking for your opinion of the best of the Time Travel genre to date. My core criteria are simple:
- hard science base as opposed to fantasy
- writing on the level of Asimov, Clarke, or Heinlein
- provocative ideas unfolding solutions to present conundrums
