Hi first time poster on Reddit. Any way I need help with finding a book at the title indicates. I will try to describe things I remember from the plot. Huge apologies in advance for the rambling to follow
It is a fantasy book that was discontinued due to publishing problems, I'm not sure of the details. It was supposed to be a trilogy I think but only two books were out last I saw it. The main character, I think she is twenty lives with her grand mother who is a which. The girl always wears silver cuffs on both hands but doesn't know anything other than not to take them off. The first book starts with her mother coming and trying to steal one of the cuffs. The grandmother tells her to run and she leaves on horseback through a forest of blood that is very dangerous. She makes it out and hires a guide to a safe place. She later finds out that the safe place doesn't exist and her grand mother lied to her. Thel man she hires also betrays her but they start to fall in love. They go on a journey together where a lot of things happen like a group of people that wear white and can't touch people or they kill them. Also the land they live on used to be magical but when the people found it they bound the majic and now there are people who want it released and those who don't. Both want her and are after her because she is the key to release the majic. She dies and comes back in book two. She comes back changed and lives with her mom. Finds out the man who she hired was actually a prince. She lives in the capital city of the land. Book 2 ends when she finds out that her grand mother and the prince plotted together. And she goes through a change again that has something to do with a veil i think.
