i'm a big fan of women getting weird, hallucinatory, and introspective, but i feel like i got absolutely nothing out of this one. there was plenty to love about the writing and it was laden with symbolism, but i'm just not sure what to do with all of it.
the main question i have is why the hell was there such a focus on urine and excrement? was it meant to represent anything? was it just there to be gross? does the author have a kink or something?
