Hi everyone,
I'm looking for book recommendations for a slow-burn romance where the female main character (FMC) is currently in an abusive relationship (could be a boyfriend, fiancé, or husband, etc..), and the male main character (MMC) is a cop, possibly her neighbor. I’d prefer the focus to be on her current situation rather than her recovering from a past trauma.
