As title suggests, we need a book that's good for reading after a rough journalist read. Down for anything from short classics (Ie Sun also rises) to modern hits.
We just finished Pathogenesis and Your Mind on plants, and before that read The Wager – so we need a casual read that we can enjoy 🙂 thanks in advance

Maybe something for spooky season? Lots of Stephen King or Joe Hill would work. I also really enjoyed Bird Box by Josh Malerman. That is a quick read though. Maybe read a couple short spooky books, like Heart Shaped Box and Bird Box?
I always really enjoy historical fiction and that might fit the bill too.
