looking for something similar to John Klassen's The Skull.
can be a children's book adults would enjoy as well. folklore-inspired, slightly creepy, with beautiful illustrations.
open to children's books or graphic novels. closest thing I can think of is Emily Carroll but I'd like to avoid anything too gory/graphic.
