I am 22 years old I'm interested in learning more about politics, particularly international relations. I want to better understand the relationships between different countries and the impact of global events on the United States. Can you recommend some books that cover the basics of government and politics, as well as more advanced topics in international relations?
I don't have much knowledge about politics, and I find it difficult to follow political debates because I'm not familiar with the terminology or concepts being discussed. I'm not sure how many political parties there are, or what it means to be on the left or the right of the political spectrum for example of how uneducated I am. Please help.
