Looking for NF related to the history of philosophy, literature, critical theory

I've been in a book slump recently, but I'd love to find a good non-fiction book along the lines of Sarah Bakewell's Humanly Possible and William Egginton's The Rigor of Angels. Something accessible (trade publisher, probably, not an academic press) about the development of a philosophy, a literary movement, critical theory, anything along those lines. Thanks!
