Fiction books that have had a severe impact on how you read and what you read. To me it started with Yhis Savage Song by V.E. Schwab. First time ever I read a YA book that was different than the rest and it blew my mind. YA could also be this?! I then went on to read literally everything written by her I could get my hands on, my favourites now being the second and third series that I read (Vicious and Shades of Magic respectively). V.E. Schwab has invaded my favourite authors since the very first time I picked up a book by her and she is still my number one. Her stories have led me through my darkest times and have formed me as a person, and have made me be more comfortable with myself as a neurodivergent queer person.
Same happened again when I found Mo Dao Zu Shi (Grandmaster of Demonic Cultivation) had no experience with danmei webnovels at the time and absolutely devoured it. Mo Xiang Tong Xiu changed my life and my reading habits.

Some books just guide you up a path that you didn't know existed, and they teach you things about yourself you didn't know. What were your books?

Blood meridian but it’s more of a simple way of change. I just found it too hard to read without knowing some of the words so it lead me to googling up words now instead of just going past.
