Just finished it and it might be my favorite book of all time. There are lines that felt like a punch to the gut, and moments when I felt like whoosh of dread down my spine. It was lyrical enough that I felt like it had something to say about life and emotions, but entertaining enough that I didn’t feel like I was reading poetry.
My other favorite media is the Haunting of Hill House, or Ari Aster. This is my first time reading horror books and I’m desperate for more.
