I am looking for a dystopia or maybe like a fairytale retelling of some books.

I have read some great ones and most of the popular ones
    Hunger games
    The selection
    Cinder (whatever that series is)

    Anything would be greatly appreciated!

    1. *Cinderella is Dead* by Kalynn Bayron is a dystopian fairy-tale retelling, in case you don’t know it yet.

The Giver is a short but great book. Aimed at adolescents but I enjoyed it as an adult.

Year One by Nora Roberts is a dystopia with some fantasy thrown in.

The Aurelian Cycle series by Rosaria Munda is more what happens after the revolution and it’s really excellent.

Tender Morsels by Margo Lanagan. A rather dark version of Snow White and Rose Red.

    5. If you liked The Hunger Games, The Selection, and Cinder, I’d recommend these dystopian novels:

DIVERGENT by Veronica Roth (In a society divided into factions, one girl doesn’t fit.)

ABOVE THE SKY by J.W. Lynne (A girl discovers shocking secrets about her “utopian” world.)

UGLIES by Scott Westerfeld (At sixteen, everyone undergoes plastic surgery to make them “pretty.”)

DELIRIUM by Lauren Oliver (A girl lives in a society where love is forbidden.)

    6. The Girl in Red by Christina Henry

      Unwind by Neal Shusterman

      Divergent by Veronica Roth

Blindness – Jose Saramago. A mysterious case of “white blindness” starts spreading and kicks off the breakdown of society.

It was all the rage this year, but “Tender is the Flesh” is great. And of course if you have not read “Brave New World” or “1984” those are pretty clutch classics.
