Help a married guy out. My life loves female lead fantasy. Can have romance, but no spice. She loved Thorne of Glass, read actar, but litttle too spicey maybe. She liked 4th wing and Iron flame. I want to surprise she with a new book and tub shelf. Hot bath and smell good already someday when she gets home from work. She gets most of her books from booktok. My booktok is all history and epic fantasy. Can you help a guy out.

I loved the Daughter of Smoke and Bone series by Laini Taylor. It has basically no spice and swings more toward YA but the author is an expert at lovable, interesting, funny, brave characters. You just fall in love with her characters and worlds. I also loved her other series Strange the Dreamer but that had both male and female lead. Honestly, these are some of my most beloved books as a huge fantasy reader and I’ve only had great feedback when I’ve recommended them so I really hope you choose them!
