I was not a huge sci fi fan until I read Childhood’s End by Arthur C Clarke about 9-10 years ago. Now it’s all I want to read. I’ve been trying to recreate the mind-blowing experience with other sci fi books but haven’t quite hit the mark. The Three Body Trilogy came closest. I read the first three Expanse books and wasn’t too into it. Currently trying to finish To Sleep in a Sea of Stars which is good but a loooong read. Any suggestions for mind blowing sci fi reads?

There’s tons of great sci fi. But mind-blowing? Those are more rare.
I found the Light of Other Days by Stephen Baxter to be mind-blowing in a certain way.
