I know oral histories were all the rage like 10-15 years ago, but I recently went down a rabbit hole reading old longform oral history articles, and it reminded me how much I enjoyed books written this way. To name a few, The Good War, Alright Alright Alright, The Only Plane in the Sky, and World War Z (I also read Devolution but didn't love it – it was fine). I also read the one about ESPN and SNL but didn't really care for them.
Anyone have some others I need to check out? Pretty open to the subject as long as it's well written/engaging! Thanks in advance!
