i’m reading love in the time of cholera in english, but i’m also learning spanish and wanted to know if anyone could help me with this:
there’s a phrase that fermina daza says when she returns from europe and is asked what she thought of it, the translation says – “It’s not so much.”
it’s described as Caribbean slang and I’m so curious what this phrase is in its original language but I couldn’t find it anywhere online and don’t have a spanish copy of the book to look it up myself.
i would love to find this!
