I really love the genre of fiction that isn’t necessarily “police investigation“ or “uncovering criminal plot” but rather “discovering the secrets of this strange magic system”
having recently watched the Netflix series Wednesday which is very much that fantasy/mystery genre it’s made me really really want to read books that have a similar vibe!
bonus points if they have slow burn romantic side plots 😌
