Hi!
I am looking for a book (standalone or series) that has a central unfolding mystery – I'm not sure if there's a more specific term for this. I am not looking for a whodunnit or murder mystery but am after a larger mystery in the world.
Some examples of this include the TV Shows LOST, Silo, or Severance. Book examples of what I am talking about include the Broken Earth trilogy, The Locked Tomb, The Will of the Many, Library at Mt. Char, Piranesi, Scholomance, or even the Sparrow or 7 1/2 Deaths of Evelyn Hardcastle. Wayward Pines is already on my to-read list. 🙂
