I want to find a book for my brother (17M) who feels empty and numb. Not a book about depression, he doesn’t get sad, just numb. He's a great guy, sporadic, random, and very funny, very hardworking and extremely capable. He tries to care about making the most of the world around him, but he can't, it just feels pointless. He sympathizes with the main character of hollow knight a lot, a hollow vessel that simply goes on because it is its duty, and enjoys the melancholic and somber feel of the game. Does anyone know of a book that sounds like that?
