I’m in need of a fictional character I can look up to. Someone’s who’s smart, charming and gets his way. I’m working on a business so it’d be nice if it’s related to business and working alone.
Anybody know any characters like that in any book I can read? It has to be fictional since I read to sleep.

Definitely a self-starter and a shrewd businessman. And also one of the most racist books I’ve ever read. Not sure if it’s a satire or just that racist. If it’s a satire, it’s so damning.
Here’s a good one. Being a businessman isn’t the central conceit, but A Scent from a Strange Mountain details many Vietnamese immigrant businesses that got ahead.
Jeffrey Archer has written a number of good novels about businessmen. You might like As the Crow Flies or Kane and Abel.
