I’m a designer / artist by trade and work as an employee. After many tech layoffs, AI, strikes within the entertainment industry, I feel that it’s time for me to shift to becoming an entrepreneur.
I have a very specific mastery which is to design environments and backgrounds for games, animation, film. The past few years has been terrible for the industry. I’d like to make a business that I can use my skills, but I don’t even know where to start.
Any good books/resources that can help with that? So many people say I should because of my skills, but I don’t want to just sell courses /e books, which I see a lot doing. I actually want to do what I do best.
I started reading 4 hour work week and after WFH the past 4 years it seems kind of outdated as I already do most of this stuff. I’m also looking into Dotcom Secrets, would that be good?
