I'm basically looking for the reverse of the friends to lover trope, MC that start up in love or at least a romantic relationship, but they decide it doesn't work (please, no 'life/work/war tears them apart" stories) that way but still value their emotional connection and do their best to remain friends and enrich each other's lives.
No fantasy please.
