Hi!
I (29F) wasn't a huge reader when I was a teen or a kid, still for some reason I decided to go to university to study Literature and Languages.
Still during my time in uni I wasn't much of a reader even though I was reading some books occasionally (maybe 3 per years that weren't required for uni) but I was happily going to class and following my course that was really interesting imo.
4 years ago I was really bored bc I felt like I watched every TV shows on Netflix that was interesting to me and I decided to try to pick up a book in a genre I think I would appreciate (romance).
And since this very day I'm utterly obsessed with books, I became a bookseller for 2 years and now I have a complete new job but I'm still very obsessed with book.
What I mean with "obsessed" with books :

I'm always in a reading of something (reading a book atm)

When I'm not reading most of the time I'm watching videos on YouTube about book recommendations

I'm always looking for some new books to read on reddit or whatever
-
I'm always talking about books to some of my friends or on online communities.
Almost all of my free time is dedicated to read or talking or thinking about books…
Am I the only one??
