Across the universe/A million suns/Shades of earth (by Beth Revis; extremely summarized plot is that a girl gets frozen on a spaceship for 300 years but wakes up early)
The eye of minds/The rule of thoughts/The game of lives (by James Dashner; extremely summarized plot is that there's this guy who wants to take over peoples' bodies with computer programs)
Something similar to these 2 would be good but I'm not picky

The Darkness Outside Us by Eliot Schrefer is one I’d hope would be accessible in a high school library because it is a fantastic queer YA sci-fi read.
Hyperion by Dan Simmons
Foundation by Isaac Asimov
