Context: we have broken up recently due to him moving away to a different timezone and long distance being too difficult, this was mostly his decision. I still love him and have no bad feelings. We still talk as usual.
I struggle with reading self help books and prefer books that move fast. I did read a little life recently and loved it. So I'm perfectly fine with reading about someone else's trauma.
