Does anyone have a book that when I read it will make me feel like I’m listening to a song by The Decemberists? I’m looking for fiction – no particular genre, though. I do enjoy fantasy, mystery, romance. There really aren’t many genres I don’t enjoy.
Thank you!

*The Invisible Life Of Addie LaRue* is all about a woman who makes a deal with a demon and is forced to go into the world on her own away from her family dealing with this interesting curse that will make you put yourself into her position.
*Little Eve* by Catriona Ward is an extremely well written gothic book about a young woman growing up in a cult. Her family is found murdered in the first chapter, and we spend the rest of the novel putting together the pieces of what led to this brutal scene.
*Our Wives Under The Sea* is a creepy atmospheric book about a woman whose wife returns from a Deep Sea Expedition. A very satisfying read that grows more strange as you read it.
The Passage by Justin Cronin
Funny you ask. The singer Carson Meloy actually writes books. He has a fantasy series called Wildwood. They’re technically children’s novels but they’re very much to be enjoyed by adults as well, kind of like how Harry Potter is also for all ages.
