I am not a big reader. We were talking about what to get for Christmas last night and my wife said “I would love it if you could find me a book that I’d like”. There are a number of issues here including, how do you recommend a book you’ve never read? How do I know if she’s read the book I get her? Etc
So I’m looking around the internet for requests. She is a big fan of British and Royal culture, Agatha Christie novels (has really read them all), British history around the time of the blitz. She’s a big fan of beach read murder mysteries. Interested if people have any thoughts. Maybe a murder mystery that takes place on a Caribbean island??? We were thinking about planning a get away.

There’s a newish book of stories in the style of Agatha Christie by some really big names in contemporary literature called “Miss Marple: 12 New Mysteries”. It’s super fun for Christie fans.
